Medicine supply chain management using blockchain

The Medicine Supply Chain Management project is an innovative solution that integrates Blockchain and AI to address the issues of counterfeit drugs and tampered supply chains. By leveraging the power of decentralization and transparency of blockchain technology, we can ensure the safe distribution of medicines across the entire supply chain. The solution includes a Rasa chatbot for ordering and tracing medicines, and a decentralized application (DApp) built using the React Framework, which connects to the blockchain via Web3.js and Truffle.

Motivation:

Counterfeit drugs present a significant threat to the global healthcare system. The lack of transparency and difficulty in tracing products in the current system make it hard for consumers and pharmacies to trust the source of the medicines they purchase. Our motivation is to solve this problem by using blockchain technology, which allows for secure and traceable transactions, making it easier to track the origin and movement of drugs within the supply chain.

Solution Overview:

The solution we propose combines two advanced technologies: Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence (AI). Blockchain enables decentralized, transparent, and immutable records for all transactions between supply chain participants, while AI enhances pharmacology and helps provide better customer service. The combination of these technologies guarantees a safer and more trustworthy medicine distribution system.
